Tyler Matthews is an NBA Skill Enhancement Trainer who works with athletes of all levels on taking their mind, basketball skills, athleticism, and overall performance to a level beyond what they may be able to currently envision.
As a player it was not Tyler's skill level or athleticism that separated him from others... where Tyler stood out was his pure passion for the game, his relentless work ethic and drive for continuous improvement. After suffering a lower back injury in his senior year of high school, he held off on going to college & decided take a year off to rehab & get back into playing shape. In that time Tyler began working with 2 young local kids at the rec center who were looking to improve their game.. within weeks the kids had become basketball addicts and they were seeing major improvement.
Tylers aspirations of continuing his playing career had faded as his love for helping others grew. Tyler had gotten more addicted to seeing the kids improve than he ever was his with his own improvement!
Victor Oladipo, NBA All-Star who currently plays with the Indiana Pacers. Tyler spent 4 weeks in the off-seasons of 2017 & 2018 helping work with Oladipo.
Tyler's passion for basketball player development grew deep quickly. A few months after starting his local training business he began making connections nationally and internationally within the training industry. Less than a year into the training game, he landed his first major opportunity working alongside Micah Lancaster in Michigan. He became one of the top trainers of the worldwide brand "I'm Possible Training". In 2017, Tyler moved back to Florida to open his private gym and begin to build his own brand.
Tyler Matthews has now become one of the most sought after skill development trainers in the world due to his ability to break down the raw skills of the game and provide players with knowledge and innovative ways to improve their basketball performance.
